About

I work on large-scale intelligent transport and tolling systems, with a focus on solution architecture, systems integration, and technically demanding delivery.
Current role
At SkyToll, I work as Intelligent Transport Solutions Team Lead, in a role that combines delivery leadership with a substantial amount of hands-on solution architecture. I help shape solutions, design and review integrations, coordinate across technical and business roles, and support demanding technical discussions with customers and partners.
Transport systems and delivery
I have worked in IT for more than twenty years, with nearly a decade focused on tolling and transport-related systems. Most of my experience comes from real production-oriented systems rather than isolated prototypes. Over the years, I have worked on tolling and charging projects in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Croatia, and on selected GNSS-related pilot and proof-of-concept activities in the Netherlands and India. I have also presented related topics at conferences and professional events in Abu Dhabi and Delhi.
Earlier experience
Earlier in my career, I worked as a programmer, analyst, and consultant across enterprise and utility systems. I studied informatics with a specialization in artificial intelligence at Comenius University in Bratislava, and later taught introductory AI and web development at the University of Žilina.
Technical lab and side projects
- Linux
- Python
- Docker
- self-hosting
- automation
- CMS platforms
- practical data tooling
Outside my main work, I maintain a hands-on technical lab focused on Linux, Python, Docker, self-hosting, automation, CMS platforms, and practical data tooling. I also use modern AI tools and coding agents extensively in these projects, especially for experimentation, prototyping, and personal software systems. Some of this work becomes public-facing side projects, including data visualizations, browser-game prototypes, and utilities for monitoring, extracting, or presenting changing web information.
